Xbox Live and GFWL
If anyone is interested in catching me online on either Xbox Live, or Games for Windows Live, you can catch me using the gamertag "myzteriouz".
The current games I have lying around are:
- Tom Clancy's Hawx(Xbox Live)
- Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare(Xbox Live)
- Call of Duty 5: World at War(Xbox Live)
- Fable 2(Xbox Live)
- Grand Theft Auto 4(Xbox Live)
- Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II(GFWL)
I'll also be getting Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2. After the let down that was Call of Duty 5(care of Treyarch), It'll be good to see Infinity Ward get back into the saddle for the new game. Let's just hope that they listened to all of our posts on #MW2 on Twitter.
For those who don't know. Call of Duty 4 and 5 had some of the worst setups for System Link games, in which you were unable create your own classes (like you can with the PC version and local network games), as well as the fact that it is limited to a single player PER Xbox, which is not the best thing, especially when you have semi-regular matches with friends (Like I did the other week with the guys from MLC).
Call of Duty 4 specifically, had one huge issue with the Xbox Live Matchmaking due to the more recent patch, which essentially made it impossible for an Aussie to have host if there was a single American in-game. One of the HUGE letdowns in my book!
Oh well, until next time.
